Universal Children's Day
Universal Children's Day takes place on the 20th of November annually. Proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1954. It was established to encourage all countries to institute a day, firstly to promote mutual exchange and understanding among children and secondly to initiate action to benefit and promote the welfare of the world's children.
EL “Día Universal de la Infancia” tiene lugar el 20 de noviembre de cada año. Proclamado por la Asamblea General de Naciones Unidas en 1954. Fue creado para animar a todos los países a establecer un día, en primer lugar para promover el intercambio mutuo y la comprensión entre los niños y, en segundo lugar, para iniciar las actividades en favor de y promover el bienestar de los niños del mundo.

The right to be brought up in a spirit of peace and universal brotherhood.

The right to enjoy these rights regardless of race, colour, sex, religion, national or social origin.

Guy Fawkes Day
The major fireworks holiday in Great Britain is held on November 5th and is known as Guy Fawkes Day. Strange as it may seem, the holiday commemorates the day in 1605 when Guy Fawkes and a band of Englishmen tried to blow up the British Houses of Parliament by placing barrels of gunpowder in the basement of the Parliament building.
La mayor fiesta de fuegos artificiales en Gran Bretaña se celebra el 5 de noviembre y se conoce como Día de Guy Fawkes. Puede parecer extraño , la fiesta conmemora el día en 1605 cuando Guy Fawkes y un grupo de ingleses trataron de volar el Parlamento de Cámaras británico con la colocación de barriles de pólvora en el sótano del edificio del Parlamento.
